Suffolk County Alert
June 2008: County legislators Jack Eddington and Wayne Horsley have introduced IR 1506-2008 which would "prohibit deceptively colored handguns" including blue ones. The bill is currently in the Public Safety Committee. All gun owners are urged to contact their local legislators in opposition to this proposal.
July 31 Update: The bill has been tabled in the Public Safety Committee.
August 6 Update: The bill has been withdrawn.
